Workshops have arrived

It's incredibly exciting to be asked to tutor some yarn related workshops at Creative Corner, a new craft space in my home town.

A recurring monthly workshop on dyeing. In the Introduction to Dyeing you will learn how to apply colours to dye with a pouring method and heat sealing the colour in a microwave. At the end of the workshop a uniquely coloured skein of yarn will have been produced.

Beginner Knitting is an introduction to the very basics of knitting. In the 3 hours we will create small squares to showcase knitting stitches. Patterns, yarn and needles will be provided to continue your journey away from the workshop.

The humble granny square is the first crochet workshop. Instruction will be given to make a basic granny square in both single colour and multi colour. A follow up workshop will be offered giving options for joining the squares into a beautiful project.
