About Me

My name is Penny. The founder, website builder, head of marketing, lead designer, administrator, all round dogsbody and chief brewer upper here at Rosewood Yarns and I love creating things.

It's always good to put a face to a name. This is me on a recent holiday in Cornwall. A place I love to be and is a constant source of inspiration.

After years in the clothing and yarn industries as both a designer and local yarn shop manager, redundancy has made me consider my options.

Crafts have been in my blood since an early age. My Nana was an incredible dressmaker and I remember my Grandma's beautiful, fine knits when I was younger. I cannot remember a time when some kind of needle or drawing implement was not in my hands.

Rosewood Yarns is an extension of all that I love and I hope that you will enjoy the colourful yarns that I create.
