Beginning a new year

2025 was definitely a time for learning. After being made redundant in the last quarter of 2024 I never thought that I would be able to do some of the things that I have done.

In January I began to build the website, something that was nowhere near my wheel house, let alone in it. I started to sell patterns on ravelry and have started to make sales. I'm looking to other sites to publish too.

From yarn I have introduced project bags and kits under the albee & boo brand label and parent company of Rosewood Yarns. I have always loved to sew and before I entered the world of wool I was very much involved in the clothing industry with fabrics. It is incredible to be able to unite the two areas.

After a few ups and downs I have emerged from 2025 with confidence that I can grow this little tiny flower of a business into something more substantial.
